Frequently asked questions

Getting pregnant does not always go as you had hoped. When pregnancy takes longer than expected, it can raise many questions. This does not automatically mean that becoming pregnant is impossible, but it may be useful to ask your gynaecologist for advice.

To gain a clearer picture of your situation, both partners may need to have an extensive blood test, as well as a semen analysis. This gives us an initial overview. Reduced fertility can have several causes. These may lie with the woman, the man or both partners. That is why we look at the process as thoroughly as possible.

Depending on your situation, we can support you in different ways. This may include ovulation induction, where ovulation is stimulated, or insemination, where sperm cells are introduced at the right time.

Are you pregnant? Congratulations!

Throughout your pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period, we surround you with warm, personalised care.

Breast centre

If a breast condition is suspected, or following a diagnosis of breast cancer, you can turn to our specialised breast centre.
