In March, Dr. Stijn Van Hoef will start as a permanent staff member in the department of general and abdominal surgery at Sint-Trudo Ziekenhuis. Dr. Stijn Van Hoef will join our medical team as a general and abdominal surgeon with specific interest in (complex) abdominal wall surgery and bariatrics or obesity surgery.

In September, Dr Catheline Bocqué will join the Sint-Trudo Hospital as an ophthalmologist.
Dr Catheline Bocqué will work within the ophthalmology department at Sint-Trudo, with a particular interest in cataract surgery, eyelid surgery and medical retina.

On Monday September 9 a new route system will be inaugurated at the hospital to better direct patients and visitors to a waiting room or department.

At the end of September, Dr Michaël Knapen will start as an anaesthetist at Sint-Trudo Hospital.
Dr Michaël Knapen will join the anaesthesia department at Sint-Trudo with a specific interest in intensive care and regional anaesthesia.
