We are pleased to welcome Dr. Kathleen Hoffbauer to the neurology team at Sint-Trudo Hospital.
Dr. Kathleen Hoffbauer studied medicine at Hasselt University and KU Leuven. In 2025, she completed her specialist training in neurology at the University of Antwerp, with internships at, among others, Vitaz Sint-Niklaas, Sint-Dimpna Hospital in Geel, UZA and AZ Herentals.
She also built a strong scientific background with publications on rare neurological conditions. International experiences, such as a summer school at the University of Manchester and a clinical internship in Ghana, have further broadened her perspective on care and patient support.
With her commitment and warm approach, Dr. Kathleen Hoffbauer is a valuable addition to our hospital's department of neurology.
