The endocrinology department treats diseases of glands that release hormones. These glands may produce too much or too little hormones, or they may change shape (nodules on the gland). We can also help you with related metabolic disorders such as obesity, osteoporosis and high cholesterol.

Our radiology department is responsible for imaging of the body: radiologists search for the nature and location of a disease, injury or disorder by means of rays or waves. The most commonly used rays are X-rays (X-rays, CT scan), but nowadays sound waves (ultrasound) and magnetic fields (NMR scan) are also increasingly used. A multidisciplinary team is here for you with radiologists, nurses, technologists, secretary and a logistics employee.

Sint-Trudo Hospital has a specialised emergency department. Patients in an urgent or life-threatening situation or in need of urgent medical care are quickly and efficiently cared for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a specialised team of nurses and emergency doctors.

The department of urology specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the urinary tract disorders (in men, women and children) and disorders of the male genital organs.

The pneumology or lung diseases department treats diseases of the upper and lower airways and of the lungs.
