The department of cardiology treats coditions of the heart and blood vessels, also known as heart and vascular diseases or cardiovascular conditions. Symptoms such as palpitations, shortness of breath, chest pain, fainting or high blood pressure may indicate a heart condition.

Patients who were affected by a stroke or CVA are admitted to a special monitoring room as soon as possible. We call this the stroke unit.

The traumatology department treats disorders and problems of the musculoskeletal system and this mostly after accidents.
Here a multidisciplinary team consisting of orthopedic surgeons, paramedics, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists is available to treat and guide you.
