The head and neck centre combines two medical disciplines in one department: nose, throat and ear diseases (NKO), face and neck surgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery (MKA). This allows us to further help patients with problems in the head and neck area in one multidisciplinary center. This provides not only a broader range of care but also an integrated care path. This is a great advantage for patients who would otherwise switch between the two disciplines.

Our intensive care unit is a specialized department where critical patients are monitored and treated in a high-tech manner 24 hours a day, under the constant attention of the specialized doctors and nurses.

Surgical procedures (operations) are performed in the operating theatre. Surgeons from various disciplines operate here under the supervision of anesthesiologists who provide anesthesia and artificial sleep. In addition, the specialized team of surgical nurses is responsible for the necessary care before, during and after surgery.

At the orthopaedics department, you can count on specialized care from a multidisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare staff. From neck pain and foot pain, to osteoarthritis, to ligament and cartilage injuries. Our team is available 24/7 to provide you with the best care based on experience and advanced techniques.

At the department of ear, nose and throat, you can get a diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the ears, nose, throat and surrounding structures. This includes both routine procedures such as the removal of tonsils and the placement of ear tubes, as well as more specialised treatments. Our department is part of the hospital's head and neck centre.

The department of physical medicine and rehabilitation specializes in rehabilitating people with certain medical conditions and/or pain syndromes. The goal of our treatments is to regain maximum functionality.
