Ear, nose and throat (ENT)

At the department of ear, nose and throat, you can get a diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the ears, nose, throat and surrounding structures. This includes both routine procedures such as the removal of tonsils and the placement of ear tubes, as well as more specialised treatments. Our department is part of the hospital's head and neck centre.

What can we help you with?

We are responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the nose, throat, ears and the head and neck region. We also perform minor surgical procedures, such as placing ear tubes, removing tonsils or nasal polyps, and corrections of the nasal septum. In addition, we guarantee multidisciplinary care in collaboration with other specialties.

Examinations

We carry out various examinations to arrive at a correct diagnosis. You may, for example, be examined using hearing tests, balance tests, allergy tests and imaging such as a CT scan. We choose the right examination based on your symptoms and ensure a targeted approach.

What do we treat?

We treat disorders of the nose, sinuses, throat, larynx, ears and neck. This includes hearing problems, ear infections, throat infections, voice problems, sinus complaints, sleep apnea, dizziness and allergies.
