Our social services consists of a team of social workers, each linked to one or more hospital departments. This allows us to have a specific impact on the psychosocial care of the patient and their environment. We work in a multidisciplinary way, which means we work together with different departments as well as with various services and organisations outside the hospital.

Both admitted patients and outpatients can contact us for support. Guidance from our social services is free of charge and takes place in complete confidence, with respect for your privacy.

Our dieticians guide people during their hospitalization to eat the right food tailored to their condition, situation and personal needs.

At the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery, you can receive diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the teeth, jaws, face and oral cavity. Our department is part of the hospital's head and neck centre.

At the department of ear, nose and throat, you can get a diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the ears, nose, throat and surrounding structures. This includes both routine procedures such as the removal of tonsils and the placement of ear tubes, as well as more specialised treatments. The department of cardiology treats coditions of the heart and blood vessels, also known as heart and vascular diseases or cardiovascular conditions. Symptoms such as palpitations, shortness of breath, chest pain, fainting or high blood pressure may indicate a heart condition.
