Cubital tunnel syndrome is a condition in which the ulnar nerve (the nerve at the elbow) becomes compressed, causing tingling or loss of sensation in the ring finger and little finger. Sometimes it helps to take rest, but if symptoms persist, surgery may be required.

De Quervain's syndrome is an inflammation or irritation of the tendons on the thumb side of the wrist. The tendons do not have enough space to move smoothly, which causes pain when gripping, twisting or lifting. The pain often worsens with rotational movements or when lifting a baby.

A wrist cyst is a benign swelling filled with a clear, jelly-like fluid. It usually appears as a palpable lump on the wrist or hand and may cause pain, pressure or discomfort during movement.

Trigger finger, also known as a spring finger, is an inflammation of the protective sheath around a tendon in the finger. As a result, the tendon can no longer move smoothly. This can cause pain, stiffness and a catching or 'clicking' sensation when bending or straightening the finger. In more severe cases, the finger may temporarily lock in place.

Hemorrhoids, or haemorrhoids, are a condition of the anus. Hemorrhoids are a tangle of blood vessels covered with mucous membrane within the ring of the sphincter of the anus. They form the valve of the anus. This means they are important for holding up bowel movements.

An ankle entrapment (impingement) can occur due to thickening caused by scar tissue, extra bone ingrowth (osteophytes) or prolonged (sports) overload. This causes pain and an inflammatory reaction.
