Inflammatory bowel diseases or IBD is an umbrella term for chronic inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

There are three major salivary glands located beneath the ear, in the lower jaw and under the tongue. In addition, hundreds of small salivary glands are found in the lining of the mouth and throat. Problems can occur in these glands due to an inflammation or a tumour.

Dupuytren's disease is a benign condition in which nodules form in the palm of the hand, just under the skin. The nodules can connect with each other to form strands in the palm and warp the fingers.

Hemorrhoids, or haemorrhoids, are a condition of the anus. Hemorrhoids are a tangle of blood vessels covered with mucous membrane within the ring of the sphincter of the anus. They form the valve of the anus. This means they are important for holding up bowel movements.

Complaints of the ankle joint are common and are related to various aspects: position, strain, occupation, sport or age. Injuries of the ankle usually occur after a sprain of the ankle. This often damages the ankle ligaments and/or cartilage.
