Date
Dr. Stijn Van Hoef received his degree in medicine with high distinction from the Catholic University of Leuven (2015).
He completed his assistantship in surgery at several hospitals, including AZ Imelda, Bonheiden and Maxima Medisch Centrum, Eindhoven.
Subsequently, he specialized in complex abdominal wall surgery, at UZ Leuven (led by Prof. M. Miserez and Dr. N. Van De Winkel) and UZ Ghent (led by Prof. F. Berrevoet and Dr. M. Allaeys), as well as in bariatric surgery at AZ Sint-Jan, Bruges (led by Dr. B. Dillemans).
Dr. Stijn Van Hoef will join our medical team as general and abdominal surgeon with specific interest in (complex) abdominal wall surgery and bariatrics (obesity surgery). Within the Andreaz hospital network, he will also be active at Jessa Ziekenhuis Hasselt and AZ Vesalius Tongeren.
