Announcement of Dr. Patricia Verstraete as orthopedic surgeon
In April, Dr. Patricia Verstraete will start as a permanent staff member at Sint-Trudo Hospital in the orthopedics department as a spine and trauma surgeon. Dr. Patricia Verstraete will be responsible for the treatment of neck and back complaints. And will strengthen our medical team in the field of microscopic and innovative techniques, such as 3D patient-specific technology.

Dr. Patricia Verstraete has more than 20 years of experience in spine and trauma surgery. At AZ Turnhout, she built expertise in the application of microscopic and innovative techniques, including the 3D patient-specific technology. She was one of the first pioneers in Europe and already helped more than 200 patients with this technique.
Together with Dr. Degraeve and Prof. Dr. Lauweryns, she will be responsible for the treatment of neck and back pain at Sint-Trudo Hospital. People-oriented care is central here.
