The nephrology department of Sint-Trudo is one of the three recognized centres for kidney diseases in Limburg. The service offers the full spectrum from diagnostics to all forms of treatment. An expert team of doctors, paramedics and other healtcare professionals is available to the patient 24 hours a day.

In the clinical laboratory, analyses are performed on blood, urine, stool or other body materials. These analyses are performed for admitted patients, patients from other hospitals or patients referred by their general practitioner. For special analyses, we cooperate with external Belgian or foreign laboratories that are experts in their field.

At the hyperambulatory day hospital, you can receive surgical procedures on an outpatient basis. This means that you come to the hospital on the day of surgery and can go home the same day.
Surgery in the hyperambulatory day hospital always requires an appointment through your attending specialist.

Our psychology department can assist you in your coping process during your hospital stay.

At the pain clinic, you can receive interventional and medicinal pain therapies (infiltrations, radiofrequency treatments, etc.) for the treatment of both acute and chronic pain.

Our psychiatry team consists of a liaison psychiatrist for admitted patients and a psychiatrist you can go to for consultations.
