After childbirth, you are closely monitored to ensure a good recovery. You will be assisted in caring for yourself and your baby.

In the days following childbirth, your baby is closely monitored. You get to know your baby and learn more about feeding and which care to administer. As a result, you create confidence so you can go home with peace of mind.

If natural delivery is not possible, the baby is born by caesarean section (sectio). This involves making an incision in the mother's abdomen. The caesarean section can be planned in advance or, for medical reasons, occurs during labor.
