Several doctors at St-Trudo Hospital will take part in the protest against the government's announced reforms. It is important to note, however, that continuity of care will be guaranteed at St-Trudo. So patients who come to our hospital on Monday, July 7, for urgent, non-deferrable care will be helped in the same way as on other days.
Oncology care programs, rehabilitation procedures and dialysis will also be able to continue as usual. For some non-urgent care, however, there may be an impact. We understand that this can be inconvenient for our patients, and as a hospital we are doing everything we can to organize ourselves around this as best we can.
If your appointment on Monday July 7 cannot take place, you will be contacted by telephone by Thursday evening at the latest. That way you will not come to the hospital for nothing and a new date will immediately be proposed.
