Announcement of Dr Dyon Valkenburg as ophthalmologist

We welcome Dr Dyon Valkenburg as a new ophthalmologist at St-Trudo Hospital.

He will join our current physician corps as an attending ophthalmologist with specific interests in ophthalmogenetics and in medical and surgical retina. He will focus on eyelid, cataract and vitreoretinal surgery.

After receiving a master's degree in medicine from Radboud University Nijmegen, he further specialized and gained valuable experience within the field at Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen. In addition, he successfully completed a PhD with the topic, "Inherited Retinal Diseases: Towards Clinical Studies and Treatment".
