Covid screening for travellers - NEW INFORMATION 26 June
You can go to Sint-Trudo Hospital for a COVID-screening. You can make an appointment for a PCR test if:
- You have to present a negative PCR result within the framework of events (camps, festivals,...).
- You are travelling to a country whose government requires a negative PCR test. You can check which requirements a country imposes at https://reopen.europa.eu/nl.
- You are returning from abroad and are required to undergo a COVID test. The government will inform you of this via SMS.
As of today, 26 June 2021, the government will reimburse two PCR tests for departing travellers who have not yet had the opportunity to be fully vaccinated. Via www.mijngezondheid.be, you can now obtain a CTPC code that will have your test reimbursed by the RIZIV in that case. More information can be found on info-coronavirus.be.
As soon as you have a CTPC code, you can make an appointment yourself: click here to make an appointment. You can receive a CTPC code via SMS when returning from a trip or after a request via mijngezondheid.be. If you do not have a CTPC code, you can make an appointment by phone on 011 699 695, on weekdays between 09.30 and 14.30 hours.
Important to know is that this code is only valid for 10 days. It is best not to book the test more than 10 days in advance. If you don't have a code, or the code has expired, you have to pay for the test anyway (55 euros per test). As soon as the result of your test is known, you can request it digitally after logging in via mijngezondheid.be.
Parents of underage children can request the test code, appointment and certificates for their children at http://www.mijngezondheid.be/. You have to log in for each child separately! Select your child by clicking on the arrow when you log in. If your child does not appear in the list, you must contact the municipality and report that the TI 114 - Descending line pedigree has not been correctly completed.
Children under 6 do not need a certificate to travel.
Any questions? If an error should occur on a certificate, or if you have a substantive question or need assistance, you can contact the call centre every weekday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. by telephone: 078 78 78 50.
Where can you find us? White unit (back) at the visitors' car park of the hospital.
The opening hours have been extended in order to meet the high demand for tests.
